Golden Flag Award

We are very pleased to introduce the very first Fletcher Golden Flag Award!
Our first award will be presented to the FS Aquarius. The FS Aquarius was, until very recently, working in the Aquaculture industry and prior to that had been in lay-up.
For the last few months the vessel has been undergoing an extensive conversion program to bring her up to spec as an oil and gas PSV. This has presented the crew with a number of challenges along the way however, with hard work and dedication, we are very pleased that she has recently started a contract with En-Quest.
The decision to appoint this award to the FS Aquarius was based on their ability to overcome these challenges, work with the Vessel Manager, and Technical Director as well as many suppliers to ensure the vessel was ready to start on her charter. This took a huge feat of planning, organisation and hard work to bring the vessel out on time.
We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in such a mammoth undertaking. Special thanks must go to Ryszard Dobrzynski who spent many, many weeks on board and worked tirelessly to get the vessel on charter. As well as Vessel Manager Mike Kerr who took control of the project and made sure to see it through to the end.
A Golden Flag will be presented to the vessel to fly as a symbol of this achievement.
This is a very well deserved first Fletcher Golden Flag Award and we are very proud and grateful to all involved.
