August Safety Champion

Another month, another Safety Champion! This month we have seen some great Safety Observation Cards come through, however keeping with the onboard training theme, our team felt as though we had to highlight one crew member in particular who has gone above and beyond in his commitments to improving safety onboard.
We would therefore like to say a huge congratulations to James Lennon, Chief Officer on board Standard Viking who is our newest Safety Champion!
Our team wanted to acknowledge the substantial effort James has gone to in ensuring drills and training exercises conducted with the crew remain realistic and engaging. The scenarios James creates are inventive and well executed, with practical advice and learning opportunities for all.

In addition to his continued efforts on board, James was also one of the attendees at a recent Officers Seminar which was held in our Corporate Dundee Office on the 28th August. Consequently, James was happily congratulated and presented with the coveted Fletcher Travel Mug by Managing Director Keith Fletcher.
We would like to thank James for his continued contribution and promotion of our company safety culture, and congratulations on the new title!
